Pop and Dance in GWSFA user asked me to ban pop and dance in the Great World Song Festival completely. There are some Pro and Con arguments, so I decided to open a poll. Yes, they should be banned. The contest should show the cultural and musical diversity of the different countries and not the usual music we listen today.
No, they shouldn't be banned. Pop and Dance are part of our culture and Pop and Dance are music too. It would be music racist to ban them.

No, please not !! It's my favorite music I listen to, so it's easier for me to find songs (not overused at all). It would be unfair to ban them , cause then I want traditional music to be banned to.. -.-

It's also my favourite music style, but still I've seen a lot of people send original, different songs - like I do. And I'd like to have only such songs, so yes

It would be unfair to ban them , cause then I want traditional music to be banned to.. I think you missed the point. The "YES" argument says that "traditional music" brings out cultural individualities in countries, which the anonymous user said pop music doesn't.
I vote "NO" because it's ridiculous to state that pop music does not have cultural differences. The pop music of Turkmenistan is very different to the pop music of the USA. Despite having a low tolerance for certain aspects of pop music, I do not think anyone should ban pop music because it's far to controlling. And frankly, it will turn many people away from your contest

Also, people should have to put up with the fact that the most popular (not pun intended) music genre in the OSCC (Online Song Contest Community) is pop music.
This letter to you sounds like it comes from an immature person who wants their distaste for a genre of music to rule the world.
