North Vision Song Contest #5 (Confirm)

Tonight, RTL received a lot of negative feedback from the Luxembourgish people, due to the borrowing rule over the Benelux region, that allowed Within Temptation to take part in the National Selection for Luxembourg, and later, to win it. Most of the comments are formed because of patriotical reasons, but also because , Within Temptation won against Scene Writers, a very loved and famous local band. The head of delegation also confirmed the rudeness in some of the comments.

Sharon Den Adel, the lead vocal of the Within Temptation stated that It's sad and painful to hear that most of the Luxembourgish Northfans disagree and are very rude towards me and my band. It's sad, because I feel very related to Luxembourg, because, if it wasn't that way, believe me, I'd never have applied for A Star For Luxembourg. This feedback really.. Made me speechless...

The Head of the Luxembourgish delegation along with the RTL.lu Executive Supervisor stated that It's just so ashaming that in the 21st Century people still complain about a fair selected winner. Any rule is saying that Within Temptation isn't able to represent Luxembourg in Northvision. And again, it won in a tournament Selection made by eight contenders.. It's such a shame! [...] I think as long as a singer feels connected, related, close to us or simply has a valuable reason to represent us, and even the stricter rules accept that there shouldn't be absolutely any turmoil about it. Nowadays, I noticed that a lot of people are driven by a lot of bad facts when it comes to a song contest.

"Sinead" also received bad feedback from several foreign Northfans, stating that the song is an Amaranthine wannabe, affirmation on which, inspectors are workind and wondering on.

The song that will represent Luxembourg will change if the turmoil continues and the plagium accusations appear to be true and based on a real fact. Meanwhile, this appears to be, so far, the biggest controversy of the Northvision 5, and yet, the forth edition didn't even finish properly.
