I'm not specifically talking about the winners, all the pop songs still do much better than the other genres on average. I see only 3 pop songs in the top ten In this edition there were 5 to 7 pop songs if I'm not mistaken and that's quite an acceptable number in comparison to other contests where 4/5 of all songs are mainstream pop. Not too much imo But I already asked to ban pop and dance but everybody except for one was against it. I can't make the rules more strict (Don't get me wrong Gary, I can definately understand what you mean) I joined this contest because I thought that traditional songs would have a chance to do well, but I was wrong.

Sorry for making you angry again I can really understand that you don't want to see the pop-songs getting all the good positions here but look at the surprising runner up russia... or spain etc. If it is really too much pop-songs for you then I can understand but I am putting hard work in this to be the contest with the most different music. If you don't like that, then withdraw. I won't be angry or so. The bad thing about your withdrawal was that there's one different song less. (And yes, I know that you never said that you are going to withdraw and no, I don't really want you to withdraw, I just wanted to tell you this message.)
