widymusic.com/"Las raíces libanesas de esta barranquillera se evidencian en su apariencia exótica ..." "The Lebanese roots of this barranquillera are evident in its exotic appearance ..." I already noticed her but after some research, I found nothing more than Lebanese roots through her father Naim Cure. That might mean that her father is Lebanese, that his family emigrated from there or that he is only from Lebanese ancestry. So I registered her only as a Colombian artist, until new info become available on her.

Why can't you hold me in the street? Why can't I kiss you on the dance floor?

All I found is: Born in: Barranquilla, Colombia Age: 23 years old Parents: Naim Cure (father, who is from Lebanon) y Lizzette Senior (mother) Following this article (http://revistas.elheraldo.co/gente-caribe/perfil/widy-cure-un-talento-musical-de-barranquilla-129292) her father is from Lebanon

Unfortunately they talk about "roots" (''raices") so we don't know if her father is actually Lebanese or only (partially or fully) from Lebanese descent. And you know, the Lebanese diaspora is quite huge (estimated between 4 and 14M people, while 6M people live in Lebanon), and there are a lot of self-called "Lebanese" people around the world who are in reality from the second, the third or even the fourth generation of emigrated people (the process began roughly under the French protectorate). And like Armenians or Greeks for instance, they are very bound to their culture so they still feel Lebanese even if their family emigrated decades ago. Interviews and social networks are often the best way to learn details about an artist but I didn't find anything more accurate than this (even with the Lebanese version of Google, so we can guess that she hasn't been noticed in Lebanon).
