I meant it's rare for someone so succesful to do Eurovision, so If she's unlikly to even represent the country she was born in, why would she represent Italy (the country she has distant links from.) A lot of singers see Eurovision as a risk due to the fact that doing badly can have a negative effect on your carrer.
