Estonia has confirmed participation in Eurovision Song Contest 2012. They selected their song on March 3, 2011. The same format that was used in 2011 was used to select the entry for 2012. There were two semifinals with 10 songs in each (20 total) and from each of the semifinals, 5 songs advanced to the final, making it 10 in the final. The 2 songs with the highest score in the final went through another round of voting on the same night in the so-called "super final". The national selection was called Eesti Laul which means "Song of Estonia". A professional jury selected the 20 songs from all the submitted entries.
