I have loved books ever since I read percy jackson when I was 11, so I thought it'd be interesting to see which books you were reading, and which is your favourite that you've read. (I don't think there's a thread like this, though I could be wrong)

The 5 people you meet in Heaven The idea behind the book, is that when you die you go to heaven and meet five people who explain the point of your life to you (The book is fictional, and is exploring the idea, rather than saying it's true). The life of Eddie, an old engineer who fixes rides at an fair ground next to pier, he is shown to be someone who was never really satisfied with life, and feels almost as though his life never really took off. A large theme through out the book is that every life has a meaning. I read the whole book in one night, and cried at the end. A fantastic book, with some really thoughtful and touching moments.

Robbie that book will make you SOB. AFiOS  I reccomend the Divergent books by Veronica Roth, The Wishmaker by Ali Sethi, and anything by Cassandra Clare. |
