" Less than one day after Madrid lost in its bid to host the 2020 Summer Olympics, Barcelona Mayor Xavier Trias said the city is prepared to present a bid for the 2022 Winter Games. "We have the dossier ready," Trias told Catalan television. "We need to speak with the Spanish Olympic Committee to see if they are ready to go forward with this venture." Madrid failed in its third straight try to win the right to host the Summer Games on Saturday when the International Olympic Committee chose Tokyo over the Spanish capital and Istanbul. I wanted  Istanbul to host  Well at least  Tokyo is only about an hour behind  Melbourne, so I can actually watch the Olympics live   And  Australia isn't far from  Japan  |

I wanted Istanbul to host Well at least Tokyo is only about an hour behind Melbourne, so I can actually watch the Olympics live And Australia isn't far from Japan Yes, it is Japan is as far from Southern Australia as England is from Canada. |

And Australia isn't far from Japan Yes, it is Japan is as far from Southern Australia as England is from Canada. I always do bad at how far countries are from one another :/ |

I wanted either  Istanbul or Tokyo to host it. Becuz for Turkey it would the first Olympic Games and Japan is just very epic, but I'm happy that Tokyo was selected  Who knows, maybe I will go there someday (or maybe during the Olympics as a viewer =PP)  |

Tokio, is such an awesome city, as well as Japan is an amazing country. The second time after 1964, and 56 years later again in 2020.  |
