 Ireland has confirmed participation in Eurovision Song Contest 2012. They selected entry on February 24, 2011 in a program called The Late Late Show. 25% televote and 75% jury was used to determine the result. All 5 entries were presented on February 9. Jedward won and will thereby return this year. Last year, in 2011, they performed "Lipstick" in the ESC final. Jedward will participate in Ireland's national selection and could return to Eurovision if they win. They are not already confirmed.
