I'll need to start applying for College next week, as I'll be starting AS-Levels next September. I can take a minimum of four subjects, and a maximum of six. I'm having difficulty choosing which subjects : / Subjects I'm considering:-
-English Literature -History -Religious Education -Philosophy -Maths -Psychology -Politics -English Language -Graphic Products
Which would you advice?

I guess it depends on what you'd like to do in the future.

Well I guess English Lit/Lang would be the best options, Psychology's a good one too. Politics could be a back up subject? What type of teacher would you like to be? ^^

Humanities would be a good one, or maybe English. To do a PGCE you need to have a degree equivalent to the similar topic you want to train to teach, plus you also need a standard equivalent to a grade C in GCSE English and mathematics. If you want to teach Humanities then I would say it would be a definite without argument that you need either of the main two humanities topics from the standard UK curriculum which is either history or geography with a 2nd level of them being psychology, sociology, modern foreign languages, philosophy, ethics, art, art classics and classics (as in Ancient Greek, Latin or Classical topics regarding arts etc). Hope that was a help
