I edited my post a bit But wow.. Did you solve it? I imagine you did Gaelic is so wonderful Well,I did, manage to solve it...I kinda find such exercises boring though...There are 5 GCE Mechanics Units...1,2 and 3 are pretty boring... 4 is extremely difficult and 5 is the most enjoyable of all IMO. However,I don't understand why students taking up the course seem to prefer M4 to M5...M4 is disastrous just because of 1 of its chapters...There was one an exercise at a former M4 exam from that chapter that literally nobody managed to solve Are you a very smart student or a professor? #offtopic

This is the main reason I do well though... If I weren't good at Maths, I wouldn't have that good results

I've heard that many smart latvian pupils and students go to World olympiad and mostly get very good places - even , & . Mostly in biology & chemistry.

I've heard that many smart latvian pupils and students go to World olympiad and mostly get very good places - even , & . Mostly in biology & chemistry. I have personally never had the chance to make it there...However, 2 years ago,I came 1st in the Chemistry Olympiad but there were 6 other students in 1st place with me...There are many students of my age who tend to do well at Olympiads so I was unlucky...Anyway, they were about to pick 2 students who would represent Cyprus in the International Sciences Olympiad in Iran but they just picked randomly 2 of the 7 winners and I was not chosen. It was really unfair...I mean, they could have made a 2nd contest with harder topics so that they could find the 2 best ones...As for Physics,I took part only last year and came 7th and I've been taking part in almost all Maths contests of my country with some good places like silver medals etc. However, I haven't made it to a World Olympiad yet. I do,have a friend, though who is 1 year younger than me and he is like the smartest guy I've ever met. He goes to the World Olympiads every year representing Cyprus for both Maths and Physics. I would really love to reach his level but he surely does a lot of practice! He's actually a classmate of mine at my GCE Mechanics and GCE Mathematics courses and he's always doing a perfect job. Last year, at all 6 GCE Mathematics and GCE Mechanics exams,he got a total of 600/600 and was awarded with the TOP International Mark. I only got a 548 but I still got an A*

I only got a 548 but I still got an A* yeah, that wasn't really fair and I understand you, because wherever there is some draw to pick the best of 2 or more students, that recieve the same score, I'm always unlucky, so the only way I can be the winner somewhere is to reach the best result from all participants. But anyways, I'm not that smart as you are and I really envy your knowledge - I would love to have knowledge that you have, because not only in Latvia there are required people with good maths, physics & mechanics knowledge... these people can get job everywhere and well paid... but I'm not that good in these subjects, so I have to look for something else... Even I've been the smartest guy in my class since kindergarten till 12th grade, but I've only participated in region olympiads, not national... But that doesn't change anything, because I'm not lucky whatever I choose, so I don't even know, which subject is the best for me, that I could get a good job in and that would interest me...

Of course he's not, he's a person. Oh wait, you're not ferrygraf so I shouldn't be mean, my apologies... A particle P of mass 0.4 kg is attached to the mid-point of a light elastic string of natural length 1.2m and modulus of elasticity 2.5 N. The ends of the string are attached to points A and B on a smooth horizontal table where AB = 2m. The particle P is released from the point C on the table, where A,C and B lie in a straight line and AC = 0.7m . (a) Show that P moves with simple harmonic motion. (b) Find the period of the motion. The point D lies between A and B and AD = 0.85m. (c) Find the time taken by P to reach D for the first time. *Oh wait, you're not that clever to solve it so I shouldn't be nerdy, my apologies... * Stin kardiamou ola e kepandisis i ena mi sero thelo edo. Liechtenstein? You can be relieved actually, as I don't plan to give up WWWSC in the near future But on the other hand, you'll have to deal with me until the end, so maybe you should be scared too I'm glad Liev leaves mean comments, so why should I be scared? Atta boy! I'm glad Liev leaves mean comments, so why should I be scared? True, I'm really frightened of him He's so mean, especially to me (cry) Okay, okay. From now on, I'll stop being mean to you and be your bestest online friend. True, I'm really frightened of him He's so mean, especially to me (cry) Aww Florian, there is no reason to be scared.. The Philippines is many hours away from you x3 Wait, who said I'm in the Philippines? And who said I'm working near the Manila Airport? I'm just a stone throw away from Salzburg Mozart Airport in Österreich. #SorryForBringingBackTheTopicAgainButIJustCouldntResist

I thought Emre was a girl, and Fabrizio was a girl *is shocked No seriously now. I also thought SanBeanzie is male until I read the opposite at the "Introduce yourself"-thread.
