Probably because your country organizes it and all Turkic nation take part...But seeing the Cypriot map all covered with the flag of an illegal nation (the so-called 'Northern Cyprus') is just a huge shame! How can you be promoting a competition where a 'nation' like this takes part, when it's only recognized by Turkey and everyone knows it's illegal? I mean,it's just so lame to do that... And the contest itself is lame as it shows Turkey were disappointed of ESC (probably because they didn't get the results they wanted, as I'm sure that the juries is not the actual reason you left) and hence wanted to create its own contest where it'll be able to win more easily... Being on top is of course a great feeling,but what for when you are there just because you have more power than the others? It just doesn't even feel like satisfying. If Turkey wanted to stay in ESC, they would've done so and they would've sent a good song too... But apparently, that decison of theirs made them look like 'cowards' as they were not even able to compete against countries of the same power as them... P.S. The message does not contain any political meaning etc. It's just some personal opinion of how things are. I understand you. And I think you already know my opinion to sollution to Cyprus dispute so no need to write them again. But what I wanna say is, you're taking everything too seriously and overreacting this. That covered map of Cyprus wasn't anything official. It's just one of the pictures you can easily see on the internet. I didn't write it just because it's Turkey hosting either. So far I don't have any opinion about Turkvision and I'm not even promoting it. If I like the contest, I'll always watch it. If I don't, then I won't be interested in it. The reasons of foundination of Turkvision are lame and it makes me worried about our future in Eurovision. I don't have anything to say about this either. But the point is, this contest is where Turkic nations and some countries which are close relations can participate. Being a UN member or being a country seems not a criterion to participate there. Even territories can participate. So how could they leave Turkish Cypriots out, when all others are taking part there? If North Cyprus was never founded, they could still participate and nothing would change... Only, they would participate under the name of "Cyprus" then. I don't know which one disturbs you here that's why I cannot explain in more detail; seeing your island relatives participating in a contest or seeing them participating under "that" name? Seeing them participating under that name is the reason I go furious...And Cyprus is also a bad name for this occasion,as it would only be ideal if the whole island took part,not only a part of it... |

Oops, my song for WWWSC24 got selected for the Hungarian NF  escxtra.com/2013/12/meet-the-30-qualifiers-of-a-dal-2014/Hm.. I guess it won't be selected, but we will see... Anyway, I'm happy to see  Gigi Radics (NF2013, WWWSC 14 & 18), Kállay Saunders (NF 2012-13, WWWSC 25), Hien (WWWSC 12), Viktor Király (NF 2012, WWWSC 9), Linda Király (NF 2012, WWWSC 9 & 21) to take part  |

woah woah woah! gentelmen! with Tukvision it's only contest, it's not a big deal and I think the contest can't compare with EUROVISON!!! We have Tatars minority in Poland, they have Turkish origin and live in Podlaskie Voivodeship I'd be happy if they take part in Tukvision with the Voivodeship as an independent state  lol I guess it would be a very interesting experience for us ^^ oh and here prince Charles met Polish Tatars (it was a few years ago )  |

By the way,anyone who wants his/her image for this edition to add it as a signature (as I did) or for personal use etc,I have all images saved on my computer from the 11th edition and on. So don't hesitate to contact me about those  Greetings |

I suppose we, who don't live in Cyprus, Turkey or Greece, don't really know/cannot really imagine the situation you are in, as we don't have such a situation in our countries. So please forgive us if we don't care so much about the politics or about which nations might be illegal or whatever, but just see Türkvision as a new, different and maybe interesting contest.  I'm quite sure, just as our Polish friend, that it will never reach Eurovision, still it could be entertaining. So let's all calm down and don't take it so seriously (again from my own "neutral" point of view, I don't have the possibility to judge the situation from a Cypriot's perspective...) About the images, I think that's a great idea |
