India's Ten Edition Aniversary

As we have just finished edition #52, that marks India's tenth participation in the contest. I thought I would put together some facts and figures as to the results thus far of my participation in this contest

This is the first WC where we don't start against one of the top nations, but we start against our own level teams, so that should be an attractive hockey, because everyone will be quite fresh

I doubt Slovakia will fight for 4th - I think Germany is the main contender, because they are a home nation, so they will fight for their lives... Italy and Denmark are "on paper" the weakest teams, but Denmark could surprise, because they are scandinavians.. Russia, USA and Sweden will most likely take top3 places in our group, but Germany and Latvia should be the ones fighting for 4th-5th, because Slovakia don't have any NHL players this year, which means they might not be as strong this year... but obviously, it's hard to predict, because if lucky enough, everyone can beat everyone...

I'm just curious, because only today I found out that Azerbaijan is ~97% Muslim, while their closest neighbours (Armenia, Georgia & Russia) are all Christians... Ys, Iran is Muslim as well, but still... most neighbours are christians... I've always thought that Azerbaijan is Christian... this is new to me...

I understand, but that's why I ask him, because only he knows about himself. Maybe he practices (IF he's a muslim)! As I said I'm just curious, I don't blame him for being christian or muslim. I know that the real/everyday muslims aren't bad (although they are blamed for many things), it's just the current situation that artificially makes them bad. There have been plenty of muslim protests/marches, where they say that Islam isn't bad, that Islam is a good religion - it's just those few people that use it the wrong way...

It's not like that wouldn't be the case in most countries in the Northern hemisphere (apart from the African and Asian ones).

There are more muslim countries there in that region. Most of the ex soviet countries in central asia.
