Congrats, Sam, you showed a lot of courage saying this, I salute you !! In Romania, if you're homosexual, you can't geti it out without bad jokes and fights :$ The uk just makes up light hearted jokes and then act normally. Then we're appalled when someone hates on gay people.

I guess in every country it's a bit diffucult to be gay,not only in Greece nor Romania/UK/every-other-country etc. It depends on how much do you believe in yourself,if you have the courage to hear those words and just ignore those people.

I just think homosexuality isn't a thing that you have to be ashamed of It's like music, if you like rock, you mustn't be ashamed because you don't listen to or like other music styles The fact society takes it a taste "out of the normal" is just awful and ridiculous, but some people can't change their minds Stand up for what you believe Sam! Germany is one of the countries where you're at the bottom when you are gay/ lesbian :/ Really? Because I read somewhere that Germany was ranked in the top 5 for most supportive of LGTB rights along with Australia, Czech Republic, Canada, Spain.

Austria is definetly worse then Germany if that's true.. can't believe it.. So sad for my country.. I mean, even one of my friends in my school told me she does not like homosexual people. I would not be sure if my family likes "them" too. I only know that my father does, I think my mother does not like them. She makes jokes or say things which includes words used to describe homosexuals.. or in a bad way.

I think if any guy from my school grade would come out, he would be supported by the girls and bullied by the boys

I overheard one boy saying that he could respect a gay man, but not like one. He's quite nice for the most part, and is quieter about his homophobia than others. It made me think.
