That one of my teachers knows  German. He learned German in school of course and I think in college but it was surprising. What started it was when I wrote my  Icelandic name on a test and he noticed.. and he was like: What language is this? Do you have passion for languages? And I also wrote something in Irish when it wasn't an Irish exam - ceist a haon - question 1. Then he asked me something in German and I just said nein.. I think he asked me if I spoke it  |
