Welcome to the second edition ofDANSK MELODI GRAND PRIX

Format The format of the selection is completely different than the first edition. The duels are now introduced and the participating songs have been reduced to eight from sixteen. The duels are divided in three parts; the quarter-finals with four duels, the semi-finals with two duels and the final with one and the last duel. In each duel, the voters have 200 points to give to the songs competing. However, they cannot give the same amount of points to the songs (100-100).
___________________DuelsThe songs of the edition were revealed on 17 and 24 September on the official DR website. The quarter-finals started on 4 November 2013, the semi-finals on 17 November 2013 and the final on 23 November 2013.
