Actively discussing things are an essential part in Northvision Song Contest. It keeps the contest fresh, fair and balanced to suggest new things and be sociable about it. Of course, but my personal opinion is that flooding around (k, let's call it "actively discussing things") shouldn't be put way too above the contest itself, and that people who invest into the musical side of the competition are no less important that those one who prefer the social one. Maybe, the contest managers have a different opinion on this topic. Of course, and I am not telling you it is wrong to put such things into the front. But NVSC is unique in its way; participants and more have fun discussing things about the contest without feeling irrelevant, rushed or not connected to it. A lot of afford is put in by most to update the forums, boards, wikia and social networks (eg. Jess made a Twitter account only for her country and updates it regulary). "Just" doing a national selection may be enough in IMF (just taking an example because I only know 4 active contests), but not here.

I think the issue is more part of the fact the contest wasn't as big as it was when it started in March 2013 and users who were active in song contests/on the forums ( ) took their countries but might have not realised the contest would grow as big as it uses to be nowadays.

Only NVSC-players included. Yes, because players with under 9-8 posts should be reminded about how active in the contest they are in a period of ~2 months I think I already broke that for NVSC 15. I only posted so little because I withdrew
