English translation, Just because I care for you others of worrying our Danish discussion Robbie: "But this song is so important for me. I've been listening this for 5 days because of a suicidal of my brother's friend." "I can truly understand that, my friend There are two blocks which of some people from both groups just can't agree with eachother's opinions and views, so that's why there'll be conflicts here in the forum." Sadly so, it's a shame that everything is tainted with malice and "heated discussion" nowadays :/

And wow, what a surprise, Netherlands won with the most overused song of the year Congrats to the winner, although they could've been more original than that... Sending overused and 'safe' entries is just the worst way to win as you only manage to achieve a cheap victory...Many countries underrated, some others overrated (especially the winner) but in general OK results... I just had to quote you from YouTube, sorry.. I know you do not sound really rude and you are not even insulting someone, so thanks for that. But I just need to write that. I cannot answer YouTube comments, that is why I answered you here.1) Overused song of the year? Please. It was in a few contest, not enough to be counted to the most overused songs of the year, not at all. You seem to have forgot that there were songs that were just everywhere like "What You've Done To Me" or "PreGomesh". 2) That made me cry. And you know why? I made my work to make a National Selection - and it won here. If it would have not won, it would have been all fine. You were allowed to vote, all of you. I am not a person sending more often used songs for superficial reasons. I tried my best sending my most favourite song of all time to this one contest - I could not send it somewhere else since "noobs" who really use it for superficial reasons are spreading it and making it overused. 3) I always try to be more original. I only make those huge exeptions like here when a song really means something to me and has a carved mark in my heart and brain. As said, I am not like other users you may know who always send overused things.

And it won in the Dutch NS, it wasn't internally selected.

As said, I am not like other users you may know who always send overused things. It's fine, youtube with Google + now totally sucks So, considering that song being overused,I've already seen it taking part in more than 5 online contests which is quite a big number, considering I only take part in 4 contests in total...Of course the other 2 songs you mentioned have also been overused, especially Pregomesh, but I put those 3 at the same category. Moreover, voting in pre-selections etc. is just not what I do,I think people should make their pre-selections if they want to and as it won,OFC it was deserved to take part...I don't blame you,I blame the ones who voted for it because it's like, if this song is submitted, all the others' chances to do well decline so it's like there is no actual reason in competing...And last bat not least, I've seen your entries till now and you've been original indeed with most of your entries, but well, maybe you were not getting good placings because of your original entries (which is what has happened to me quite a lot of times actually) and as you were fed up with it,you wanted to go for something 'safe'. But well, I see your own point of view but this unfortunately doesn't make my opinion about this song change... Congrats for your victory, although,to be honest I was not happy with it (not because you won OFC,but because of the song that won).

I am not really fed up, it is just.. when else could I have sended somewhere one time? I guess nobody would have ever voted for me when the song was long overused. Better I won now than sometime. Also, I still had the danger of not winning too, getting an average place. ISC is not always predictable.

I personally still find Silhouette a beautiful, nice song, but sometimes it just happens that you get annoyed when the same song wins in 2, 3 or even more contests or gets sent really often. So I can understand the people who express their anger here. However, nobody of the lovers/supporters should feel offended I think... Everyone should have the right to express their feelings about the results in a negative or positive way, but ofc always on a fair and respectful level... And I haven't seen a contest winner that everyone agreed with and I cannot imagine this will ever happen... So just let the discussions go on (it would be boring without them imo) and don't take it too seriously in the end, it's just about music and everyone has a different taste there
