AFTER A LONG MEETING IT WAS DECIDED THAT TNV WILL MAKE A NATIONAL SELECTION IN ORDER TO SELECT IT'S ENTRY. THE NATIONAL SELECTION WILL BEGIN NEXT WEEK. Jan |

 Of Monsters And Men to return for  Iceland? Today, in a well-known Icelandic music channel, the band "Of Monsters And Men" has given an interview to some reporters, talking about future plans. They also stated that if a National Final will be held in Iceland for the Northvision Song Contest #7, they might take part with some of their latest songs. RUV might even consider them to be selected internally for the competition, due to their increasing worldwide success. "I believe it depends on the interest that Icelandic people will show in an eventual National Selection" stated Mirna Föllsdottir, the Rikisutvarpið supervisor of the main Icelandic radio station.
The band took part already for Iceland in the Northvision Song Contest #3, held in Winterthur, Switzerland, where they got a good 8th place in the final rank. What place would they get if they'd take part in Northvision again? Tell us your opinions about it! |

 BNT spokesperson has stated that Bulgaria may withdraw from North Vision due to the Nevena Tsoneva scandal. She stated that Bulgaria had a disadvantage because the new song wasn't popularized like the other songs. She also noted a final decision will be made when the semi final results are released. |
