After an interview, the channel director of  M1 said "Participating in North Vision Song Contest is a priority for us". He revealed everything about the withdrawal of Hungary in NVSC 5 : in fact, the channel bet all the money reserved for this edition in the victory of Georgia in NVSC 5 and of course lost. |

ARE WOMEN FAVORISED IN  FRANCE ? Many French newspapers, counting on the fact that the official submission for the seventh edition of NVSC (which is the country's most attended show since the third edition, thanks to Leslie's performance), published articles with such titles, and with condemning statistic regarding to the country's representants for the first six editions. Indeed, it's a fact, there has always been a female representative for France : Leslie, Margaux, Marie-Mai, Dania or Pomme. Of course, in NVSC 1 and NVSC 6, Ivyrise and Matthieu Mendรจs brought some touches of masculinity but various associations are complaining, saying that France is favorising women, to attract more public votes, leaving no chances to male artists, and including very few of them in the NS's. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ As an answer to such accusations, here is, in worldwide exclusivity, an interview of Margaux Avril, French co-HoD and former NVSC participant. "Hello Margaux, thanks for getting ready to answer some questions. First of all, can you confirm that France will attend NVSC 7, wherever it will be ?" - You're welcome ! I'm happy and excited to reveal the details about what France planned for the upcoming edition of NVSC.
As an introduction, I will of course confirm that France will take part to NVSC 7 ! "Good to hear ! Let's talk about this evening's hot topic...
What can you say about the controversy ?" - Firstly, I would like to say that I love the fact that there are such controversies. It shows that the whole country is involved in the NVSC selection process ! Well, I have to say that this controversy in particular is kinda right. It's true, France hasn't sent any solo man to fly the French flag. And so what ? Should we send a man just to balance the things ? Should we choose an average male artist rather than an awesome female singer ? I honestly don't think so. But we heard you. "Really ? So, will there be changes ?" - Yes. I can announce that a new concept of NS has been chosen.
After "Stars vs. Unknown" last edition, this edition's theme will be... "Boys vs. girls" !!

  AzTV confirm Azerbaijan's participation in the seventh edition of North Vision Song Contest!
AzTV can also reveal that a national selection will take place to decide which song/artist will represent Azerbaijan in the next edition of NVSC.
