 The British Broadcasting Cooperation (BBC) can officially confirm our artists for NVSC 7. The broadcaster wishes to officially confirm the artists for our SECOND NATIONAL SELECTION entitled BATTLE FOR BRITAIN 2.
The first entry to be officially confirmed comes from United Kingdom's partner chart - the mix charts. Spending 4 weeks in the top 20 the first act to be confirmed can be revealed now. The first official entry is... REBECCA FERGUSON  The song that she will enter into the National Selection is "I Hope"

ARTIST #2 2013 saw the comeback of one of the UK's best known performers of the 21st Century. Her comeback with a charity song cover of Keane's single "somewhere only we know" not only will be giving proceeds to charity to help the children affected by Typhoon Haiyan but the song grabbed the singer her coveted third UK number one single spending an impressive 3 weeks at the top of the chart. The artist in mentioning here is of course, the 2013 comeback of Lily Allen, who will be entering our National Selection with her new single "Hard Out Here". Lily Allen |

ARTIST #3 This youngster represented the UK as our entry in NVSC 1, she's returning this time through the form of a National Selection with her new single "selfies". We are still proud of her getting our first entry into 9th place and she said to us "if I got the chance to do it all over again, I would be honoured to fly the flag". ARTIST #4 A talented voice from such a gifted singer. Miss Faith says that she has hopes to fly the flag for our country. She will be entering the contest with her song "picking up the pieces". Paloma Faith |

ARTIST #5 Katy is really excited about taking part in the National Selection. She hopes the audience likes her song and that if she enters the contest, that Europe see the potential in her ability as a performer. The song she is entering is "crying for no reason". Katy B |
