 AzTV's request AzTV would like to make a request to the NBU members.
AzTV: "If an Azerbaijani artist submits a song to a NBU national broadcaster, please inform Azerbaijan's HoD in advance as sometimes artists submit songs for more than one country."
AzTV would also like some reassurance from the NBU that if an artist plans on taking part in a Azerbaijani selection and then submits the same song to another broadcaster, AzTV would receive priority over that entry. |

 Results presentation date set! AzTV can now reveal that a date for the results presentation has been set.
Earlier than anticipated, the show will air on Wednesday 23rd April.
The show has been pre-recorded and will be aired in the late afternoon/early evening. An exact time will be revealed at a later date. |

Possible withdrawal? Following the results of the pre-qualification round (which resulted in an Azerbaijani non-qualification), fans are calling for AzTV to withdraw from the ninth edition of the contest as a sign of protest against the newly introduced PQR.
Nazrin Aliyev, NVSC fan, stated: "NVSC is a much loved event in Azerbaijan, especially since the introduction of the national selection Milli Secim Turu. It's understandable that fans are going to be upset regarding the results of the pre-qualification round."
AzTV have yet to release a statement on the matter. |

Meeting to be held tomorrow Tomorrow afternoon, a meeting is set to take place where a decision on the future participation of Azerbaijan in NVSC will be made.
Despite Armenia's withdrawal, AzTV insiders have warned NVSC fans that their withdrawal does not automatically guarantee that Azerbaijan will participate.
AzTV are set to reveal their final decision over the weekend. |

Internal selection for #10! After a long discussion about Azerbaijan's future participation in the North Vision Song Contest, it was recently revealed that Azerbaijan would continue their participation in the competition from the tenth edition on-wards.
After a long discussion with the Head of Delegation and AzTV, we can now reveal that AzTV have decided to opt for an internal selection. Financial reasons have been given as the reason for this decision.
More details are set to be revealed once the ninth edition of the contest concludes. |

The announcement schedule A number of weeks ago, AzTV revealed that Azerbaijan would opt for an internal selection for the tenth edition of the North Vision Song Contest.
Today we can reveal over the course of a week, small clues regarding Azerbaijan's internal selection will be revealed via the AzTV website.
The schedule will be as follows:

MST #4: Announcements begin today Today is the day that the song and artists which will participate in the fourth edition of Milli Secim Turu will be announced.
A song and artists will be revealed each day over the course of 10 days.
The first artist and song will be revealed later on today. |

Üçün mahnı... details released The Azerbaijani national broadcaster AzTV has released more details regarding their alternative national selection for the twelve edition of the North Vision Song Contest.

AzTV can also reveal that the artist chosen to represent Azerbaijan in the next edition of the competition will be revealed on Wednesday 17th December. |
