I also know things like the ones you said. Its like this here "Schweiz = Weltmeister in der Sparte Pünktlichkeit" it may sound a bit crazy to some other persons. I don't know whats the situation like in Austria(I hope somebody will tell me that) but in the German-speaking part many people don't like Germany and French-speaking persons hate France. Hahaha.  Switzerland,  Slovenia and  South Tyrol are our best neighbours  We hate  Germany. We find the people in the "Italian Italy" a bit strange, but we like to make holidays there. Italy is our #2 holiday-country after  Croatia We also like the  Slovakians and the  Hungarians. The  Czechs ... well I don't know much about if we like them or so. Czechia is far away from my town   OMG! People don't like to speak standard German. Its considered as a foreign language  . I don't like to hear politicians or people in higher position speaking it because of their accent but of course "normal" persons have it. It also happens that people don't use the right Grammar in standard German because we sometimes use other prepositions. |

Can you pronounce this word? Palatsc-worden = Auf Hochdeutsch Eierkuchen, oder so Pfannkuchen (nur dünner) Melanzani = Aubergine Fisole = Grüne Bohne Hahahah well. As I have some relatives in Switzerland, I can pronounce it and I know too what it means Ne Frage hab ich trotzdem.. Wird des CH in vielen Worten (Chind,..) wie Ch oder wie K ausgesprochen ? Wie zum Beispiel Chur. Die SBB Stimme sagt 'Chur' (wenn ich mich nicht getäuscht habe) und im Fernsehen hör ichs immer 'Kur' |
