 Anton I was just about to tag you  Zere Asylbek's new music video for "Kyz" ("Girl") became viral in Kyrgyzstan, and she was heavily criticized for her "Western" and "provocative" attitude. The song is about women empowerment through which she sends a message to the world about the situation of women in the country, asserting that the "revolution" should happen soon. Zere already received so many (death?) threats, but European media publications covered about it a lot and praised Zere for standing up for women's rights. It is not for my taste, but I believe that would be an interesting entry. |
