First of all, thank you for a suggestion! Long time anyone suggested ANYTHING!  Secondly, I don't really plan on using Lauris anytime soon, unless necessary. I mean everyone knows Lauris, but does everyone know much more about latvian music? That's why I'm trying to avoid him and use something, that most people haven't heard of or that is somewhat fresh in terms of how often it's used in song contests. Plus, I don't know about you, but to me this song sounds very similar to "Rīts Pieneņpūkās", which I used some time ago. And his results in general haven't really been impressive. I mean, if I send such known artist, there are certain expectations, not always which they can deliver... so thank you for the suggestion, but I'm gonna pass on this one for now But if you have anything else you could suggest, you're welcome to do just that  P.S. Just out of curiosity I looked up how he's done in Retro, and I can say that he hasn't been very successful there either. I've used him 3 times in both contests (6 times in total) and the best place is from his very first appearance in WWWSC #17 - 7th place (the only top10 result). If you'd have such average results from one of the most popular Swiss singers, I doubt you'd be using that artist very often... I hope you understand my way of thinking here |
