#FunFact Russia has never appeared in the second semi final. The only time they had something useful to do in the second semi final was voting in it as the host, back in 2009. But as the contest follows, Russia has never actually performed in the second semi final.

I have decided to make a list of artists from MF 2006 - 2015, which had something more than what you expected.
2006We all remember Rednex. The band who got a global hit with their song ''Cotton Eye Joe''. They eventually participated with ''Mama take me home'' and got placed 6th overall.
I know what you're thinking. ''hudat''. These, my friends, were a huge deal back in 1980. As a popular kids show, ''Trazan Apansson & Banarne'', were created, so did the band. The band got their fame because of the show, and they're still active to this day.
Patrik Isaksson started getting popular back in 1999, as his single ''Du får göra som du vill'' got top 15 (even top 5) in 3 charts. Many of his singles back then later became hits as well, three of them even becoming hits in Denmark. Despite not making any singles since 2011, he is still active to this date.
- Günther and The Sunshine Girls
Do I need to say anything about them? Günther took Sweden with storm when he released his ''Ding Dong Song'', where it stayed in the charts for 23 weeks. 2007 Sebastian didn't really have anything special to do with the past. But one funny thing is, he participated in the same Idol (2005), as Agnes Carlsson, where he actually cames 2nd, behind the actuall winner, Agnes Carlsson. What's so funny about this? Well, both Agnes & Sebastian were suppose to compete in 2007's Melodifestivalen, but Agnes got disqualified, due to her song being leaked before the actual show. Sebastian eventually ended 8th overall in Melodifestivalen.
The winners themselves were really popular before entering Melodifestivalen. Their fame started in 2000, where their single ''It Takes a Fool to Remain Sane'' made their popularity grow stronger. They also entered many charts in Europe in 2005, including Finland, Italy and Germany. One of the biggest stars in Sweden, Magnus Uggla, started getting famous in 1977. Some of the songs that he is mostly known for are "Varning på stan" , "Jag skiter" , "Johnny the Rocker" , "Jag mår illa" , "4 sekunder" and "Kung för en dag".
I will stop here, and I'll continue with the rest tomorrow
