It's been a few days since our amazing representative Zuzana Smatanova got to the fins of the North Vision Song Contest and we got to ask her some questions.
What was going through your mind when you saw other countries go through?I was just really nervous like anyone would be. It's a very nerve racking to see people go through and it even worse if you're representing Slovakia. Slovakia has always been in the final and no one wants to be the person that fails to qualify for the first time. It was just an amazing feeling to get through and I now know why people in Slovakia want to do thi. It's such an honor to represent such a great country and it shows that we do have great artists that want to advertise themselves. What are you dong to keep your voice active and ready for performing?Well, I do some warm up exercises every few hours so I can tune up and strengthen my voice. I also listen to the song as well because nothings more embarrassing than forgetting your words in front of millions of people. Any songs your were happy or sad for?I was upset for Sweden because they had a great song that could've been a contender but it mustn't be their time and Liechtenstein was a shock as well. I thought that would've got people dancing and shaking their asses. I love all of the songs that got through and a lot of songs can't pass but I'm just grateful for being in the final. Any plans to compete again?Well, it's been a great experience and if I have a song that really speaks to me like the song I'm singing now I'll compete for sure. It's so much fun doing this and I've made so many friends. Rebecca Ferguson is one crazy girl.
