 Made in Ireland 3RTE can announce that Ireland will be continuing with Made in Ireland for a third edition, which will for the second time in a row feature 10 songs. Songs in Irish?
RTE has come under criticism for not living up to its vow to include more Celtic Language songs in their NS, which has brought speculation they will respond to the criticism with a pre selection to chose a Celtic Language song to get into MiI final.
Ryan Dolan?
After Ryan Dolan debuted his song on RTE's radio station, fans have speculated that the song Start Again may be included in Made in Ireland. Some fans even thought that RTE may bypass a National Selection by internally select Dolan like they did for the first 5 editions.

If they withdraw in 8 it doesn't mean that they withdraw from NVSC, and I really don' thinl that Dimitris will withdraw  |

 ERR ANNOUNCEMENT"We've told you what we knew at that moment, the time of the truth have came for you, we are ready to tell you this.
We were very enthusiastic when we read all the rumours, not the internal ones. The other ones were fresh, new, something else. We tought a lot and we have a result. WE will colaborate with another country in choosing the entry. WE've tries with multiple countries, but it was a bit non-wanted. But, our lovely neighbours,  Latvia accepted our thing and here we are, we will have a common un-common NS ! There will be a final, 6 of Estonia, 6 of Latvia. The best from Estonia represent Estonia, best from Latvia, Latvia !
The name of the NS is "Song & Song" - "Dziesma & Laul" that will be held in Pรคrnu !
The news only for Estonia :
-We will still have Eesti Laulovoistlust 4 as a SF - 11 songs, 6 qualify to D&L.
-In those 11 songs, 1 will be from EL and another one will be foreign act.
-Today and tomorrow, ERR will give the public the songs, but the names of them will be unknown, you wwill only hear the melody, not see the participant, nor the song.

Rรญkisรบtvarpiรฐ confirms the Icelandic presence in the Northvision Song Contest #8. RUV has also stated that another edition of Sรถngvakeppni Sjรถnvarpsins is going to be held in the Harpa Reykjavik Concert Hall in order to select the Icelandic singer for the 8th edition of the Northvision Song Contest.
