Oxy Corporation
Oxy Corporation, commonly referred to as Oxy, is a Kerwanese multinational computer technology company
with main headquarters in Kalidonlinn, Kerwan and Astralinn, Kerwan and with
minor office buildings in other Kerwanese cities.
It designs, develops, manufactures and sells personal computers, tablet computers,
smartphones, workstations, servers, electronic storage devices, IT management software and smart televisions.
It also markets the Xperiens smartphone line.
The company was founded in 1933 in Astralinn, Kerwan, and was known under the name of Raadoxy.
It used to produce radio stations and receivers back then and continued to develop audio systems ever since.
In July 1979, Raadoxy produced the first legendary cassette player Runman,
which later evolved into nowadays' Mp3 players' concept.
The product has gained so much popularity that most audio players were referred to as "Runmans".
The original Runman actually introduced a change in music listening habits
by allowing people to carry recorded music with them and listen to songs through lightweight headphones.
After a major global success and recognition, the company changed its name into Oxy for a better identification.
Since 1992, Oxy has been producing TVs, personal computers and workstations.
In 2005, Oxy entered the phone market and subsequently developed famous smartphones, tablets, laptops,
smartwear and other consumer electronics products.
Today Oxy is still one of the leading IT companies around the world, even though recent multinationals appeared afterwards.
Oxy sells its products in almost every country, and has office branch buildings in the following states:
