Welcome to the announcement thread of
Nashata Pesen (Нашата Песен)!With the news of
Bulgaria's return to the contest, the national selection will continue after being cancelled in #18. The host of the show will be one of the previous singers who took part, Mihaela Fileva FORMAT
Compared to the previous editions of the national selection there has been several changes recently.
Firstly the number of participants has been reduced to 5. This follows the HoD's former country's (
) national selection format.No semi finals will be held! For the future editions, the format could return but at the moment the chances of this happening are very unlikely. Instead a final will be held solely.
No jury applications. Instead, like
Croatia's former NS, all participating in NVSC can vote! The only condition is that if you are a co-HoD and the actual HoD votes, the votes will be combined. If a non-participant (not an participant, or not an associate broadcaster) somehow votes they will be in the Rest of the World vote.All songs will be in
Bulgarian! IF the winner had an English version, the NVSC community would decide the version.All songs are to be revealed from 17th March onwards.
