My Black Friday, episode 4
I wanted to organise a selection of a different style than the two previous ones (the format Italodance Megamix will probably come back soon or later) and the idea came when I was working on my selection for NowNewMusic 21. I hosted Italy in many contests (even before I discovered this forum) and the problem has always been the choice. Dozen of songs available, only one to send. And sometimes, songs I <3333333 were not used, even if they were from my "Big 4" (Giorgia, Laura Pausini, Emma and Annalisa - never ask me to make a ranking of them, it would be like asking a mother to keep only one of her children).
I decided to dig out one of these "forgotten songs" by each of these singers and to use the winning song in edition #9. So let's discover the songs...
Laura Pausini - Innamorata (In love)
The music video has been shot in Miami. There is also a Spanish version, like for most of her entries.
Annalisa - Vincerò (I shall win)
She doesn't use her head voice very often in her songs but she does it...
Perhaps she chose the title after her last defeat at Sanremo... 
Emma - Io di te non ho paura (I'm not afraid of you - poor translation because the double emphasis on "I" and "you" can't be made in English)
The lyrics of this song are extremely powerful. The songs is against the violence towards women and even if this song is two years old, it's perfectly actual.
Giorgia - Io fra tanti (Me among many)
Her virtuosity in this song was a sufficient reason to select it.
Now the hardest part of the job: the votes! You will be able to vote for your favourite song - it will get 2 points - and your second favourite - it will get 1 point. The most points win!
