Julia Lux' CritiquesTobi Aglan The song you sent definitely is a great song of the 70s, it embodies the disco era and is a true gay anthem. The only criticism I have is that the song is a rather obvious choice to me, we have seen a RPDR lip-sync to it before, it's also rather overused in shows like X Factor and sources told me that our first eliminated contestant, Rhéa Dickulous, planned to send this entry as well. Nevertheless it was a great and strong entry for this category. Fashiongore alex(a)bg Again, this week you served a great and fitting entry! Your entry really is a true 70s disco song and a strong representation of the theme. I have to admit, it wasn't my favorite song of the challenge but it definitely was a strong one and I'm glad it was submitted!Dinah Lone Dimitris Tonight you really gave us 70s eleganza extravaganza realness. Your entry is a really iconic 70s BOP and I'm proud of you for selecting it. What I especially love is that the song is effortlessly great without being an unoriginal choice. Some entries this week seemed like more obvious choices to me and I love how you selected a song that really fit to the challenge without presenting something totally obvious and unoriginal. Great choice this week!Junia Hallow Apostolis Okay, so here's the thing: while I do appreciate the fact that you took a risk this week and presented us out of the box thinking, we searched for the "grooviest 70s disco song" this week. I have to say, your entry gives me ZERO disco vibes. Even if we put the challenge aside, your song sounds rather bad to me and if I heard this in a disco, I would leave immediately. The only positive thing I have to say is, that it was an original choice. However, that choice was not a good one henny, I'm sorry.EsMax Skool ✨💃 To be completely honest, I don't feel like you deserve to be in the bottom. However, the jury panel is sadly a democracy and other judges criticized your choice this week. While I do agree that Dancing Queen is a really obvious and unoriginal choice, I think it fits the challenge. Sure, it's not the best entry in terms of how disco the song is this week but it wasn't one of the worst either. What I do agree on is the fact that you did not sell your song at all. You already submitted it with the attitude like "this is unoriginal af, please put me in the bottom". You need to sell your work and "I don't know anything about the 70s" is barely an excuse. We live in the age of the internet so researching for a more original song is not too much to ask. And even if you feel unsure about your choice, you need to sell the fuck out of it. Present your trash as if it was haute couture!Lefteriana Lᴇꜰ I personally found this entry to be a really safe choice. While I agree that it's a nice 70s disco song, I do feel like it's not one of the stronger ones we got this week, originality aside. In the work room you also mentioned that you got inspiration from X Factor UK, where this song appeared. Just like EsMax, you need to put more research into your work, not knowing a lot about the 70s isn't really an excuse to flop in a 70s challenge. Preparation is everything! Additionally, last week we already had a rather safe entry from you and now this week again. You need to step your game up because "safe" entries won't get you far.

Kathleen Slater's critiques
Good evening slags. Before I begin I'd like to say that there was a list of five songs that at the beginning of the round I decided if any of them were entered, I would penalise them due to how obvious they are. Three of these five songs were entered, which to me means that originality and creativity is still an issue with many people. This doesn't necessarily mean that these three songs make up my bottom three, but it was disappointing to see. DimitrisThis was exactly the kind of thing I was realistically looking for. A classic, although not completely glaringly obvious, that fit the theme perfectly. It didn't necessarily break any boundaries or take any risks, but you still did really well and stepped up from last week which is always good to see.FashiongoreLast round you really excelled, and this round for me was no different. Another great choice, not obvious and not particularly a huge classic which made it even better because it really worked with the theme. I said in my critiques last round that people would benefit from learning from your choices, and this still stands, a great example.Junia HallowDid this fit the theme of disco? Not particularly. But I enjoyed it, I personally liked that you chose something more out there and while this didn't completely work, it displayed many qualities I was looking for from this round and from an entry in general. It definitely wasn't safe, which I really appreciate, and had a particular "groovy" feel to it although unconventional. A step in the right direction for me.LefterianaLast round I said that you should try to find ways to distinguish yourself, and in all honesty I'm not entirely sure you've done that. That said, it was an improvement for sure, this really worked with the set task and was pretty enjoyable, but it felt safe still, and didn't stick out to me either way - which maybe works in your favour at this point, but might not as the competition progresses.EsMax SkoolSigh. This round was never going to be a strong one for you, and that's understandable. We all have our strengths and our weaknesses. But really? Even a quick look on Google would've given you so many options and you chose this. As iconic as ABBA are, this song isn't even particularly the strongest disco song they have. You're not the only culprit of this but as far as this goes you were the least subtle and had the least effect. Hopefully, if you remain in the competition, you can work on this and do a little more research before submitting because this was lazy. Also, a quick note, it may be wise not to follow in the footsteps of Miss Dickulous () bytrying to justify or excuse your entry, because it does the exact opposite of help your case.TobiThis unfortunately suffers from many of the problems Miss Skool does, it was just so obvious. However, to your advantage, the song worked a lot better with the theme and is generally just a lot more enjoyable and effective. That being said, considering your success in the last round which showed a lot of promise, I was a little let down by this, although as I said before, everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and you're not going to excel every week.

Matter Teresa's Critiques!I will be harsh but fair in my critiques, but some of here up on stage tonight REALLY disappointed me...
EsMax School ✨💃 Im ngl, this is an honest bop. However SO obvious that even a 2 year old would know to send this for this week. Honestly I'm disappointed in you. I feel like you're not trying hard enough to research, cause you could've found a great 70s bop (because there are many) and easily been safe, but you didn't and now you're here being critiqued
Fashiongore alex(a)bg Another hot bop, and not one I expected to see either! You keep consistently delivering with your songs and I'm quite impressed m'dear. Your originality is good, along with your sense of bop. Keep this up and you could be a contender!
Dinah Lone Dimitris This song. is. a. masterpiece. I am SO happy you chose this Dinah. It is indeed 'Chic' to send this song. You clearly wanted us to notice you this week and you have, in the best way possible!
Lefteriana Lᴇꜰ This song fits the brief well. Its a clear groovy song and I understand where you were coming from with it. However, it was quite predictable to send this so I was a little underwhelmed. This is the 2nd week in a row where I believe you could've done more and its starting to become a trend. Step. it. up. Lefteriana.
Junia Hallow Apostolis I don't understand why you chose this Junia. Its not really a 'groovy disco' song, which is why i think you've failed badly at this challenge. I didn't get 'disco' from it. All i got was pandering to a judge, which doesn't work out hun. Please stick to the challenge brief next time so you can be successful.
Tobi Aglan Another good song Tobi! Truly you are leading the pack so far in this competition. You stuck to the brief and truly delivered a good song that was original bop. Good work and keep this up
