Julia Lux' CritiquesAlêss Brasil Aless While I don't think that you sent a bad song, it was one of the weaker ones this week for me. I personally never enjoyed Smith & Thell's music and this song is no exception. Additionally, I feel like sending them was a rather obvious choice this week. Of course it's not very unoriginal but it certainly isn't original either. Since we are the top 5 now, it's not about who really fucked up but rather who didn't go as far as the other participants and sadly I think you belong to that category tonight, since your song was simply too cheesy for me. Dinah Lone Dimitris After your recent transformation to being a flop, I'm glad to see you back on track and you proved me right that you weren't a lost case. I don't like your song a lot but it's probably the most original choice of the week and it gives me a country vibe without sounding too cliché. In the end it's only my personal taste and I think you recovered well. Compared to your last entries I also feel like you finally decided to listen to us judges which I approve of! Junia Hallow Apostolis Your song was one of the catchier songs this week for me. It was a rather pop-ish approach on country music but compared to Alêss entry, this one doesn't sound like literal cheese and if this came on the radio I wouldn't turn it off. That being said, I'm still waiting to hear an entry from you that really wows me and even though I overall enjoy your entries, I think you still need to step your game up just a bit. Jenea Orangé Jens Looking at the dutch Eurovision entries, you really showed us dutch country taste tonight. While your entry wasn't too different from everyone else, I liked it the most, as it sounded really catchy and, unusual for country music, it sounded kinda seductive without making me cringe. I do think your entry lacked a bit of energy but overall I believe you delivered a strong performance. Lefteriana Lᴇꜰ Okay so here's the thing: you were the last person to submit an entry. After you saw that every other participant selected a similar song to yours, a female vocalist with mostly country-pop songs, why would you go and send almost the exact same entry? After you slayed two weeks in a row, I was sadly let down this week and I think you could've had this in the bag if you selected something different from anyone else. After hearing the previous four songs, which are all very similar, I was really bored by your song and I honestly think your song was one of the most blandest. It also didn't scream country to me, it was just a girl singing a regular ballad with some guitar vibes. I think you had a lot of potential, especially since you were the last person to submit an entry and therefore you should've already guessed that this song won't stand out. I hope you can return to your previous greatness because this week I really was not satisfied.

Kathleen Slater's critiques
Good afternoon slags. This round was a huge step up for pretty much all of you in my opinion, in terms of originality and general entry standard, and there wasn't a single entry this round that was glaringly bad to me.Aless BrasilThis, while not all that unoriginal, was probably the least original entry of the week. Now I'm not going to hold that against you too much here, because as I said it's not hugely unoriginal, but it doesn't help your case with a song that in all honesty was not really country-esque. It was fun, something I could see actually charting (not entirely sure whether that's a good thing or not though), but it definitely wasn't the best fit for the theme for me. Dinah LoveWith this song, you've definitely proved that you still deserve to be here. A brilliant choice, a little risky in that it felt a bit darker than the other entries but that really worked for me. In terms of originality you've stepped it up, in terms of risk factor you've stepped it up, and in terms of memorability you've stepped it up, and there's not a lot else we can ask for.Jenea OrangéThis was a solid effort, an original song that definitely suited the theme, and for me the song gets better the more you listen to it, because at first I found it a little forgettable. Is the song still fairly safe? Yes. But you're doing a lot right in terms of originality and general song choice and if you're going to play safe, this is pretty much how you do it. Junia HallowThis was a little underwhelming for me. It didn't really feel particularly like a country song, much more pop than most of the other entries which didn't really work for me. Also, Maren Morris felt like a relatively uninspired choice given her recent exposure. The song is... fine, but far from my favourite. You can do, and have done, better. LefterianaIn spite of what the others have said so far, I really enjoyed this. It didn't feel as commercial as some of the other entries, while still being fairly pop influenced. I do think that this worked with the theme of country really well though, while perhaps unconventionally in comparison to most of the other entries.

Matter Teresa's Critiques! For a genre that many songs fit into, I'm disappointed this week and how bland it was. However, there were some highlights
Jenea Orange Jens This was a quintessential country song, I am very impressed with your choice here. It was original and something about it made me happy. Good job Jenea, it seems as if you have momentum now and you are running with it.
Dinah Lone Dimitris Finally, you are back on your A game. After 2 frankly awful weeks for you you finally started an upward climb. This was was VERY good. I felt like putting on some flannel and having a hoedown. It was strong enough to hold out on its own against the competition which I liked and it wasn't the usual twanging guitar also. A strong week for you, but I do fear that you've started improving too late Dinah.
Lefteriana Lᴇꜰ Something was off about this entry, but I can't put my finger on it. I think it seemed slightly pop (FOR ME) and I was looking for out in the country milking cows and other shit like that. Something was just off about it. As Julia said, you were last to submit an entry so you know what to avoid but you still went with an entry of a similar vibe to the rest of your competition.
Junia Hallow Apostolis A similar vibe to Lefteriana here. but your entry gives to me more as a song that hers. Yes it again is similar but is it bad? No not at all. I enjoy this but it again seemed too much if a cross for my taste and didn't fit the brief as well as it could have. Still, not a bad week my dear.
Aless Brasil Aless I personally really enjoyed this song. Like for me it fit the brief well, although again a bit more of a country vibe would've been nice. This entry gives me more rural-urban fringe rather than rural, hence why I think you don't satisfy the brief enough. You have been very consistent thus far in this competition, so it is a shame to see you not do as well this week.
