SEMI-FINAL ALLOCATION DRAW
On 23rd August 2018, the semi-final allocation draw for the Europa Contest 8 took place at the Hotel Sarajevo in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina where all the HoDs met to generally discuss about the upcoming edition of ESC.
The 40 semi-finalists were divided into 6 pots based on their geographical location. Following a draw, the countries were randomly divided in the two semi-finals, with 20 countries in first semi-final and 21 countries in the second semi-final.
