Ludovico Einaudi - Experience
Before you come for me saying that this was in FC, the version I am sending is the original piece
composed by Ludovico Einaudi. I prefer this version over Angele Dubeau's cause there are more insturments present rather than just strings.
This is one of the songs that really hits me in my soft spot.
Experience is part of the soundtrack for my favourite all time movie - Mommy.
I'm not going to spoil the plot of the movie but the scene where the song is played, is really bittersweet. I recommend you watch the movie if you like dramas.

I'm saddened to have to be here in the sing-off tonight as I truly adored my choice for the week, but I'm hoping that I'm able to make it through this bottom two. I'm sending "Time" by Hans Zimmer as it is truly one of my favourite instrumentals that I have heard of all time. The song is a part of the soundtrack from Inception, a movie which I remember seeing when I was really young, and then re-watching it again several years later and being able to appreciate all of the meanings behind the scenes and notice things I didn't before.
"Time", to me has a feeling of both immense happiness and immediate dread, as it feels both uplifting and dramatic yet depressing, depending on the mood. It's quite thematic as well which I appreciate.
Hans Zimmer also has many other amazing tracks such as "Day One", "528491" and one of my personal favourites "Dust", but they don't come close. |
