I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston
This is my third sing-off and thus I am fearful that my time here may be limited to this last song, hence deciding to send a true staple power ballad that manifests myself and how I played along this season. I grew up listening to "I Will Always Love You", as most of us have, and associate the song with some quite intense feelings in my life. The message it spreads is quite a staple point for me currently.
Through this competition, I learned that I am capable of self-love and detoxing myself from the people that I may well end up loving, but could turn out to be toxic influencers in my life. A romantic power ballad through and through and the bittersweet farewell to a loved one:
If I should stay
I would only be in your way
I should stay because I'm capable of so much more, but at the end of the day, if I wake up tomorrow being eliminated, I will still breathe air, as life's full of challenges. Regardless of the outcome, I am glad to have come this far. With this judging panel and these fierce queens? Incroyable.
I'm already a super queen by reaching the Top 6 and being part of this magnificent cast with incredible people that I got to know closer in the Workroom x |
