OFFICIAL THEME ART

Own Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union and the host broadcaster Public Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic revealed more details about the upcoming thirtieth edition of the Own Asiavision Song Contest.

THE LOGO

The design consists of a red field charged with a yellow sun that contains a depiction of a tunduk, the opening in the center of the roof of a yurt, a Kyrgyz traditional tent. It is actually a depiction of the first thing one sees when waking up in a yurt, namely the construction of the pinnacle of every Kyrgyz yurt with three crisscrossing laths across the circular opening at the top of the yurt. This is followed with sun rays panning out of the central logo with the slogan Music Forward! (Музыка алга!).

Music Forward! (Музыка алга!) centers around the world alga, which is a typical Kyrgyz expression to cheer someone up. Alga in its meaning of forward or deliberatly let's go attempts to motivate everyone to give their everything, whether it's in a competition or any other difficult task. For the edition in Bishkek, the acts shall feel the power that comes with the music they're doing, in order to move FORWARD through the means of music.

THE VENUE

The The Kyrgyz State Opera and Ballet Theatre is a prominant fixture in central Bishkek with a nearly century-old history. It is a pride of the city’s artistic and intellectual community and often recommended to SRAS students studying in Bishkek by locals. Kyrgyz State Opera and Ballet Theatre was founded in Bishkek (formerly known as "Frunze') on November 7, 1930. It was then Kyrgyzstan's first and only European-style theatrical institution. Under the Soviet Union, opera houses and ballet theaters were constructed in major cities across all fifteen Soviet Republics. To be eligible to accommodate enough number of people, additional facilities were build around the theatre.

THE HOST

This is going to be a one-woman show. Lenny Pojarov is a multi-talented musician and an amazing storyteller - not only through her songs. She was born and raised in Kyrgyzstan. Her family knew, from the moment she started singing before even speaking, that they were raising a future music star. Lenny presents her very own sound wherever she can and is a true eye catcher attracting everybody's attention not only through her music, but her overall appearance and amazing energy. No matter whether you are in need for a gentle ballad or a happy, catchy tune to sing along and dance to - she has the perfect song for every mood. Lenny's passion for live performance has led her to some of the hippest addresses in Paris, London and Ibiza - to name just a few. Performing in the Olympic Stadium in Berlin and participating in big TV- productions such as X Factor, Come Dine With Me, Shopping Queen and Let The Music Play have been vantage points along her path.
