Songs of the selection are to be announced between 11 and 21 March 2014. There are ten songs; nine by Danish acts and one by foreign act. The first nine songs will be by the Danish acts while the tenth and last song will be by the foreign act. |

The selection's progress will be delayed due to some problems that occurred in Denmark's broadcaster, DR. The new dates are expected to be announced in a few days. |

DMGP 04: DANISH ACTSTHE ACTโฆ Anna David
 Anna David is an R&B and Soul singer. At the age of 14 she got her first recording contract in Germany where she released 5 singles. Her debut album, simply titled Anna David, was released in Denmark in September 2005 and was certified Gold. The lead single, Fuck Dig, held the #1 position on Danish single chart for twelve weeks and received the Payload Prize 2005 for being the most downloaded song of the year in Denmark. In October 2006, Anna recorded Fuck dig in German as Fick Dich. The German version entered the charts in both Germany and Austria. Simultaneously, she recorded Fuck You, an English version of the song. She has recently participated in the Danish selection for the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "It Hurts".THE SONGโฆ "If You Wanna Cry"
"If You Wanna Cry" was released in February 2011. It was her nineteenth single since her career's begin in 2000. It was included in her 2010 album, Music Is Taking Over, and was the second single from the album. The music video of the song was released in March 2011 and was directed by Jonas Jensen. |

 Natasha Thomas is a pop singer-songwriter. In 2003, at the age of sixteen, Thomas released her debut single "Why (Does Your Love Hurt So Much)". "Save Your Kisses For Me" was released at the beginning of June 2004, meeting great success, while her second single "It's Over Now" reached #12 on the charts. The mid-tempo love song, which features the Tobagan reggae artist Sugar Daddy, also made it into the top twenty of the airplay charts. Later, Thomas broke her worldwide recording contract with Sony Music and has started her own record company along with her management crew. The result of this new artistic choice was her second album "Playin' With Fire", released in 2006 and re-issued the following year to include the single "Real". In 2008, Natasha Thomas was about to release the new single "Stereotypical" and was working with D'Klay Produktionz and Gabriel Flies. She stated on her official MySpace that the album would be released in early 2009 but no further information was given and the album is still unreleased.THE SONGโฆ "Skin Deep"
"Skin Deep" was released on 18 November 2005 as her fourth single. It was included in her second studio album, Playin with Fire (2006) and was the only single from the album.  Jasmin Kissow, better known simply as Jasmin is a pop singer. She made her debut with the single "Mit rette element" released on 7 January 2011 by Copenhagen Records. The song was charted at the 8th place on the Danish single chart and was certified as gold in June 2011 for having 15,000 downloads. Jasmin grew up in Risskov and her mother is of Ghanaian origin.  Oh Land is a singer-songwriter and record producer. Oh Land's debut album, Fauna, was released in her native Denmark on 10 November 2008 by Danish independent label Fake Diamond Records. For her eponymous follow-up album, she worked with producers Dan Carey, Dave McCracken and Lester Mendez. The album was released on 14 March 2011 and peaked at number five on the Danish Albums Chart. It also served as her debut in the United States, where it was released on 15 March 2011 by Epic Records. An EP with the same name was previously released on 19 October 2010, containing four tracks from the full-length album. Oh Land made her US television debut performance on Late Show with David Letterman on 2 March 2011 performing her single "Sun of a Gun". On 20 May 2013, "Renaissance Girls" was released as the lead single from Oh Land's third studio album, Wish Bone. The album was released in Denmark on 16 September 2013, and will be released in the United States on 24 September via Dave Sitek's boutique label Federal Prism.
