 9 Countries are expected to compete in the Pre-Qualification Round, from where only four will qualify to the Northvision 08 Semifinals, to be held in  Bosnia & Herzegovina.The European Broadcasters can now make a request to host the Pre-Qualification round in their country.
But there are some rules to respect:
- The country/broadcaster can't be one of the 9 taking part countries to avoid cheating situations.- Submit by posting a venue and a logo.- Videos must be on time**If you want, no "final results" video is needed, if you don't have time or so. You can just open a thread with the results.The event is nothing big and it won't be broadcasted through whole Europe, only via online streaming, so no big venues needed.The PQR Countries must:
- Reveal their entries until 28th April 2014, or they will be DQ from the round, and automatically from Northvision.- Vote from 30th April to 3rd May 2014The full schedule of the Pre-Qualification Round for NVSC #8:

 Moldova looks forward hosting PQR in future. However, the full concentration of TRM is now at Sansa ta 03. |

 RTS applies to host the NVSC PQR.Presenter: Slavica Ćukteraš
(Born in Sabac, Turbo-Folk- and Pop-Star) 
Host city: Šabac
 Venue: Šabac Roda Centar This big shopping center in Šabac would host the NVSC-PQR. There would be a big stage in the middle of the center where the artists will perform their songs in front of judges, reporters, fans and consumers.  The city of Šabac is located in Western Serbia, near the Bosnian border and it has 52'000 inhabitants.
All in one, the NVSC would be hosted then from the Balkan and there would be a good logistical solution for the whole NVSC - and of course it saves a lot of money, because there is not a big problem to get from Serbia to Bosnia at all.
If Serbia gets chosen, the artists from the other countries could come to Šabac to watch the PQR, before they'll go to Bosnia-Herzegovina to perform on the huge NVSC stage.

TNV officially applies the application for hosting the Pre-Qualification Round in  Turkey. The venue: The venue is Istanbul, Harbiye (Sisli) with a population of 2,500 people. Harbiye is a part of Istanbul. "With Harbiye we have a small venue but with a bigger energy. The city offers the fantastic chance to host this event." The arena: The arena will be Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre. It's an outdoor arena with a capacity of 4,000 people. "With the Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre we have an outdoor arena with a big energy on stage to the rest of Istanbul. Everybody can join the event - even if it's not so big!" The host: The host of this magnificent event will be Atiye. She is a very famous and talented pop singer in Turkey. "Atiye will surely take us through this event. She has very good english and communicating skills to offer." The logo: The logo is "The Inspiration of Music" which means that you shouldn't give up to inspirate on music. "With this logo we have a key for europe - to share and love music. Music is inspiration." The voting: The voting is as follows: "We hope to get a fair result, thats why we chose this system. We work with big numbers to get a good result." "We hope that everybody will be a part of our show - even if it's not big! Don't forget: The capacity is not the quality!" |

 LTV has no interest in hosting this, because of lack of money, thus that's why they co-hosted their selection too... |
