I'll also start predictions MoldovaIt's an uptempo song which is a nice change because of all the ballads. But as it performs as 1st, it doesn't stand out that much. It's also quite cheap and not very popular in general. And additionally, his vocals are awful... There might be neighbour votes, but not enough. My Prediction: 12 - 16 in the semi final My Hope: 9 in the semi final ArmeniaIt was a nice idea, but it didn't really work. Their voices don't fit together and the song is chaotic as hell. However, it's something different and all of them are good singers, so I think that it might qualify. There are also enough diaspora voters in this semi final. My Prediction: 6 - 10 in the semi final My Hope: 13 in the semi final BelgiumThis is a really catchy and original song and Loic is a great singer. But I cant see this qualifying, because they don't have neighbour votes (except and maybe ) and it's not an easy song, it needs some time to be liked, so it probably won't flash the viewers when they hear it for the first time. But it's not chanceless. My Prediction: 9 - 12 in the semi final My Hope: 2 in the semi final tomorrow

Mord's Predictions #6Ranking of chances: Utmost Certainty, Positive, Good, Fair, Not good, Slim, little-to-none, None Belarus: The Fan Favourite Flop Some Eurofans have really taken a liking to this song, and are staunch in support for it. However, the feelings aren't mutual among everyone. The song is uptempo which is an advantage, however performing before its best friend Russia, could be totally forgotten. They have the Soviet bloc to rely upon, however in the past Belarus has always been at the bottom of the Soviet chain and will get points once Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia (basically the whole soviet bloc) have all gotten theirs. Also considering Austria, France and Spain are voting in this semi final who are undoubtedly going to share some Western Benelux love and points to diaspora from countries such as Moldova, Romania and Armenia who are all in the same boat, it is almost certain Belarus will flop as they don't have as much pulling power. Uzari and Maimuna need to make time (pun intended) to think about staging to really give them any chance, but I predict it will flop. Chances of qualifying: Not goodChances of winning: None Russia: The Dark Horse A shoe in to qualify because it's Mother Russia (of course), and as usual Mother Russia will have staunch Soviet support, which could lead them to victory. Considering other contenders for victory like Italy, Albania and Slovenia don't have much support from neighbours, Russia finds themselves with a really big advantage. Factoring in that only Azerbaijan and Georgia have decent songs from the rest of the Soviet bloc, and that Ukraine is not in it this year, Mother Russia could find themselves with several sets of 12 points. Polina Gagarina has a fantastic voice accompanied with a just as fantastic song. With good staging, this could propel them to victory from the juries and a lot of love from televoters. Russia is not considered a hot favourite to win, but they are definitely a country to watch out for. Chances of qualifying: Utmost CertaintyChances of winning: Positive
Tomorrow: Denmark and Albania.

My Prediction #2 The NetherlandsA catchy song, but it's nothing special. The chorus is also kinda annoying and Trintje (?) isn't a sexbomb either tbh, so her style doesn't help. As there are more original songs in this semi final and as it doesn't have enough neighbours here, I predict it to fail to qualify. My Prediction: 12 - 14 in the semi final My Hope: 12 in the semi final FinlandAlthough this is literally the worst ESC song ever imo, it has good chances to qualify. It doesn't have any neighbours except Denmark here, but it's something special. The people will vote heavily, 1. Because there are many metal or punk fans and 2. Because it's simply sympathy. It will qualifiy from the semi and I could also see it winning (but Europe pls, don't make it happen) My Prediction: 1 - 5 in the semi final My Hope: 16 in the semi final GreeceI don't know what to say tbh. It's a typical, dramatic, not very original ballad, but it isn't bad. She has a great voice. It's nothing really great, but it has some neighbours in this semi (not too many tho) and if the dramatic is visible on the stage, then it'll probably qualify. But I cant see it winning. My Prediction: 6 - 10 in the semi final My Hope: 11 in the semi final tomorrow
