It was the same for me. The song I've sent in the end was the first(and only) one which came to my mind (very soon) but I first thought it'd be a joke.

Tbh, I find your picture rather simple compared to some others we have sent Just think of what words or adjectives come to your mind when seeing it, and then it shouldn't be difficult

In the end you found a great solution very fast, and the picture also leaves a lot of options imo (songs about love, friendship etc.)

okay! this is my picture: it's a very colorful, happy, joyful and the colours reminds me rainbow - the symbol of LGBT people and from other side it looks like one big mess, crowd and it's a very expressive and has a lot of energy imo well, here is my entry: Doda & Dżaga - Twa Energia
Doda is one of the famous Polish singer and Dżaga is her the best friend (he's a drag queen) this is a song about friendship and tolerance "Twa Energia" means "Your Energy" and it's a very positive song. somewhere in the lyrics: "You're turning back, the crowd has disappeared, And the whole world is a million colours for us today. So don't be afraid to play "va banque" with me". photo:

First I thought "I won't send this song of course" but I kept it in my mind because I like it and it fits perfectly to the picture. I rather wanted something about friendship but I couldn't find anything. So I've sent this. hope you understand

Iceland has finally chosen a song: and the picture was: How did I come to this conclusion: When I first got the picture I first notice that the guy is very happy and on the beach, so the first thing that came to mind was a summer hit in iceland, but unfortunately, I couldn't find any good/song that fits the picture. Then I realized that he might be smiling because of memories from childhood, for example, he's thinking about someone close that he might have lost recently, and he might be on the beach because it was the persons favorite place. And that's how this song was chosen, the song itself was written by two siblings who had lost a sibling in childhood, and decided to write this song, when I lost my grandpa this song helped me go through it, and I know this sounds cheesy... But that's how I express it and it took a long time to choose...

Thank you for saying that when I wrote it I thought it would sound a little cheesy that this song helped me go through the grief, but I guess everyone goes through this in a different way
