Why was Gia Sena Mono/Save Me (This is an SOS) allowed?  Or Karuzela/Lights On? 1. "Save me" wasn't even in NVSC and nevertheless they sound alike  Obviously not a cover 2. "Save me" "Lights on" wasn't even in NVSC [2] anyway nC 1. I didn't know there was any rule that covers are not allowed for a World Cup album 2. Exactly, the sound the same -> cover/sample. Not comparable to the similar sounding GSM/SMTIASOS or Karuzela/Lights on Why was  "Je te donne" accepted Even "Je Te Donne" was able to participate, why not this ?  As already mentioned somewhere, the rule has not "existed" back then, otherwise  "Ayo Technology", which is like the 69th cover of the song, wouldn't have been accepted either. Nevertheless, She couldn't even be chosen internally, and especially not with this song, because If you consider that  "Be My Lover" had been disqualified for sampling, I find it very unfair if  "Olé" wouldn't tbh. |
