Europe or Worldwide? The question has been asked several times before, but this time it is even more important.
IMF is close before hitting the mark of 70 participants (!). That is definately too much. I can't force people to withdraw, so a participation limit is not that good With a european contest, the contest could get smaller (better qualify chances), more realistic. However, not everyone of the current participants of worldwide countries could get a place, what is probably the main problem. But is there any other alternative?

I think yes. I don't like what it's going to be like at the moment.
And please without exceptions like there were at the beginning because there would be people who'd say "Why is this country an exception and another one not?" and so on.

If so then u should make everyone choose new countries! it wouldn't be fair for those with worldwide countries to lose out!

Uhm ... I understand what you mean. When I read it sometime ago I didn't think the time to make again a chance would come that fast.

I say no, just because some other contest also just consist of European countries and if this goes on, there isn't any place where you can send e.g. songs for USA or just with a very very little chance ... Maybe you can just make a limit as in the real ESC (I mean e.g. just 50 countries not 60) and if someone is to slow to confirm it's their problem

At the first edition, I really needed participants , and then I simply accepted South Korea. Then others wanted to debut with a world wide country too, what I couldn't deny.... since then, I always wanted MY contest, the european IMF , back.
