I say no, just because some other contest also just consist of European countries and if this goes on, there isn't any place where you can send e.g. songs for  USA or just with a very very little chance ... Maybe you can just make a limit as in the real ESC (I mean e.g. just 50 countries not 60) and if someone is to slow to confirm it's their problem  The problem at the whole thing is , that the contest was never supposed to be worldwide. At the first edition, I really needed participants , and then I simply accepted South Korea. Then others wanted to debut with a world wide country too, what I couldn't deny.... since then, I always wanted MY contest, the european IMF , back.  But then I would say you say "XX People can participate" then you say the countries BUT I would say you give each user a RANDOM country he has to have FOREVER (1st it would be more fair, because I think there would be countries many people want for example and 2nd it would be more realistic if he/she has to take the country forever) |

I disagree. I do think that what you are doing with IMF is amazing, and lowering the participants is a good thing because even I can't manage a contest with 60+... However;Should it turn completely European, like Matt said, you should make everyone take new countries as I (and other worldwide participants) lose our opportunities as our countries lie completely outside of Europe. And it wouldn't be fair for the worldwide countries. But should that be the case, I respect it... I suppose. But I'm not sure what will happen with my participation.. |

I disagree. I do think that what you are doing with IMF is amazing, and lowering the participants is a good thing because even I can't manage a contest with 60+... However;Should it turn completely European, like Matt said, you should make everyone take new countries as I'd lose my opportunity as only a tiny bit of Turkmenistan is in Eurasia, just separated from the Caspian Sea. And it wouldn't be fair for the worldwide countries. But should that be the case, I respect it... I suppose. But I'm not sure what will happen with my participation.. I don't see Turkmenistan left out in a european contest.
Why shall I close IMF ?  It is... the best contest I've ever got. No contest I would make would reach IMF in any way. |

I don't think so. I think I have a better idea: This might sound quite ironic since I currently have Monaco, but I think you should stop artists from representing nations from representing nations that they are not actually from. For example, there would no longer be an  "extra France" or an  "extra Germany". I'd be quite happy to choose a new country if this goes ahead |
