PRESENTS
The logo of the eighth edition of the Norwegian National Selection for the North Vision Song Conest.

FORMAT
The format will be the same like in the last two editions.
FIRST ROUND
Ten songs will participate in the first round. Four songs with the most points out of the ten in the first round will pass to the second round. Voting in the first round will be with the normal Northvision style.
SECOND ROUND - "GOLD FINAL"
In the second round, known as Gold Final, the song which will recieve the most points between the four superfinalists wins the competition and has the right to represent Norway in North Vision Song Contest. Voters in the second round have to share 10.000 points between the four songs.
FOREIGN ACT
A foreign act from the United Kingdom would normally participate in the eighth edition and it was approved by the British HoD but the singer changed his/her mind and decided to concentrate more on his/her new album. So, the foreign act won't return this edition. 10 Norwegian songs will compete for the 'gold ticket'.
