DANSK MELODI GRAND PRIX 07: Announcement Thread
FORMAT
The format of the selection will be the same as the past three editions with some changes. Ten acts will be competing in this edition. All the acts will be Danish this time while the Foreign Act was replaced by the Returning Act. The songs presentation will be the same as last edition: there will be three songs presented during the first three days and the Returning Act will be revealed alone on the fourth day of the songs presentation.
As the jury groups system worked well, DR decided that the voting system would not be changed. Once all the songs have been revealed, the broadcasters will be able to apply to be part of the voting. Then, the applicants will be randomly divided into groups with the number of the groups and the countries in each being determined according to the numbers of the applicants. The votes in each group will be combined to determine the ranking for each group. During the voting, the country that will be selected as the "jury president" for each group will be announcing the voting results of the group.
