Why are people like "xxx withdraws due no one cares" and then be like "WE CONFIRM WITH A BIG NATIONAL SELECTION!"

![]()  Algeria withdraws from NVSC #12Today, the broadcaster stated that the participation in the contest would entail some financial difficulties.
The main reason of that is the very low audience, due to a general decrease of the interest among the viewers.
Here are the words of the Head of Delegation:
"It was already difficult, with our resources, to take part every edition until then, but now we just can't assume the costs anymore.
Depending on how the audience's interest will evolve, we could manage to find a way to come back with the future, by making some economies,
but we want to wait at least one edition: that means a return is possible in NVSC #13.
However, all the NVSC #12 shows will be broadcasted and Algeria will give its full support to the other African countries."
No informations were given about the future ways of selection ; there are already rumors saying that CA is planning to come back to a National Selection soon,
but nothing has been proved yet.
Reality:
I find it pretty difficult to manage song contests, school and a lot of stuff at the same time nowadays.
I'm not leaving NVSC, of course, but I need to take a break for some time. |

CyBC confirms participation in the 12th edition I don't think I can give Cyprus up just yet...and now I feel bad (and stupid)      Welcome back in the waiting list xo  |
