That's how I used to think. You can believe anything you want. I have lots of beliefs that I don't share with anyone I know But that's alright. Why do you think does so badly in ESC? General opinion about the song is good - very good. Do other countries hate us? No. We hate ourselves. As depressing as that sounds it's true. Our NS winner gets 50% of hate 50% of support (may vary - I never really measured it ). We are known (amongst ourselves) for being envious. We tend to be jealous of successful people - not in sports though, which I find odd. In my eyes the final result of our entry depicts how much we like our singer + song. Obviously my belief. You can agree to disagree
Ultimate Song Contest and I was joking So, did you not like Verjamem? Most people liked Maja (still some haters, but not as many as the others get). The problem with Eva was that's she was new to the scene. I believe Tinkara passed because we have lots of respect for her, since she has been on the music scene for so long along with the producers and back-vocalists and we were in the bottom because we didn't care about the song enough. OMG I totally geeked out with our psychology on our ESC entries

That's very realistic, and I don't mind as Switzerland has a good entry So if Switzerland wins and I'm 2nd, it's ok with me too Is this the answer to everything? Yes. though this one is even better

Okay, voted in SC. It was really hard and this may explain why: 10. Qualifier 9. Qualifier 8. Qualifier 7. SC 6. SC 5. Russia 4. Qualifier 3. Qualifier 2. Qualifier 1. SC

Voted not too long ago. I personally found this round harder to vote than in the first semi final since I liked more songs in SF1 I liked eight of the ten songs, stop making it so hard by sending good songs .-.

be proud you got higher than Ireland We don't know that yet, because, as you may know, 1 entry from each semifinal in 2nd chance round is chosen by admins and it can also be the last place in semifinal... I guess I don't need to remind you WVSC #12, when Latvia was chosen as a wildcard (although it was 16th in semifinal)... that time when I saw the qualifiers I was really happy and I thought I could get something good in the final, but I finished 2nd to last. Then I found out that I was chosen as a wildcard and my feelings went down, because I realized, why I finished so bad in final... For me it's better not to qualify at all than do it from 2nd chance round or as a wildcard, because I already know that I won't get good result anyway (yes, I once was lucky to finish 12th after being 13th in semifinal, but that was just one time)... BTW - I haven't qualified from 2nd chance so far in this contest... *says to myself: "Stay positive, Peter, stay positive!"*

Realism isn't always about thinking pessimistic - there's a positive realism and negative realism, when you realize something. I will show you some (funny or not) examples what optimism, realism and pessimism is. 1st example: how these 3 people think? About flat tire: Optimist thinks: At least all the air didn't flow out - there's some still left at the top of the tire. Pessimist thinks: Gotta change the tire, gotta get my hands and suit dirty... Realist thinks: Where's my jack? I have to get to the party! 2nd example: About a glass with something to drink: Optimist thinks: The glass is half-full. Pessimist thinks: The glass is half-empty. Realist thinks: I don't care if it's half-full or half-empty - the main thing is that there still is something to drink! 3rd example: About a girl who wants to talk to you: Optimist thinks: She wants to talk to me, so she likes me. Pessimit thinks: This girl wants to annoy me. Realist thinks: This girl is my sister. (real or soul sister - doesn't matter) And this is how they look: That's how I used to think. You can believe anything you want. I have lots of beliefs that I don't share with anyone I know But that's alright. Why do you think does so badly in ESC? General opinion about the song is good - very good. Do other countries hate us? No. We hate ourselves. As depressing as that sounds it's true. Ultimate Song Contest and I was joking We have the same problem, but a little different. It's not only about hating yourself, because you're not the one who votes for your country in ESC, but other countries do, so if others don't vote for your country, you can be mad or happy - it won't change a thing. But talking about ourselves - we also don't like most of our entries, but that's not because the song is bad or what. It's mostly because we had at least one song that was better (or could do better) than the one who got to ESC, so the anger comes because of that. But that's televoting works - you can't make everyone happy. I hope it will get better with jury, but I doubt it, because in the final anyway the televoting will decide our winner. P.S. I guess I'm the only one who defends my opinion

Some of you mentioned Turkey-Azerbaijan voting as a block voting, but believe me It isn't.When I give high points to Russia and Turkey, the reason is that the songs they send were quite popular in Azerbaijan. You know,In Azerbaijan we listen to Russian and Turkish songs so much.Example, "Aşk" by Sertab Erener - almost everybody knows this song. And even Azerbaijani ESC 2008 contestant Elnur Hüseynov did sing it in the Voice of Turkey.Another reason is that I understand both Russian and Turkish. If Russia qualified this edition,I would give it minimum 6 points I guess. And many editions I didn't give any single point to Turkey - I think that explains everything.

Although Ireland doesn't always vote for United Kingdom, its primarily because most of the songs they send are ones that are known here and I like/love them so And yes i voted highly for the UK this time as the song is always being played here and I love it
