It only works if you withdraw completely.. but you're just withdrawing for an edition so no one can take  Portugal as you still have it  |

A return for NVSC #14 hasn't ben ruled out Therefore, as far as we know, Portugal hasn't withdrawn completely from the contest. |

You can withdraw as long as you want without losing your country as long as you tell each edition if you will return or not btw ^^ But won't he lose his country if he doesn't take part in three consecutive editions? I thought it worked that way... Not really. Only if he wouldn't tell in the confirmations topics he doesn't want to participate in the upcoming edition he would get a strike and after 3 strikes he would lose automatically his participating country.  It was a kind of the same with me when I actually wanted to return in the  11th edition but I couldn't get access to the forums (as you need an active forum account to be able to participate) but earlier I confirmed my return (= I confirmed my interest in participating) and due of that I didn't get a strike. |

 Tunisia: Financial problems to stop the participation of Tunisia?
Nessma is right now facing financial problems, but they have yet to announce a decision for a withdrawal, nor a participation.
The HoD of Tunisia, Anes El Bashzarri, has told us:
''We might be facing financial problems right now, but we are still fixing the problem.
We're doing our best to found for the Northvision Song Contest. We are also right now trying to contact other broadcasters to help us.''
Nessma has made a poll on their website, asking if we should continue the NVSC express,
and here are the following results:
Yes: 77%
No: 14%
Do not care: 9%
Is Nessma gonna get enough founds to participate in the comming edition, or is a withdrawal comming?

 NorthSong#6 has just cancelled. After our unexpected failure in North Vision Song Contest #12,NorthSong#6 won't be held in this edition.This is the sixth time that Greece will select internally!Alex,HoD of Nerit,said: ''I don't think that a National Selection is necessary now as we must save some money for the future NorthSongs.Soon,we will talk with some artists to see who's interested. Real Reason : I don't think that I have to make another NS where a song which won't pass in the final will win and some users who liked it,they won't vote for it in the semi finals. |

Information has been leaked by an unknown source that FOUR applications have been sent to the BBC by the Isle of Wight, Blackpool, Merthyr Tidfyl and the capital city London to host the next edition of a National Selection for NVSC, speculations saying that it would be Battle for Britain 7.
