I like that I'm the only one in the forum from Switzerland which means there is no need to worry that someone else could apply for it once(I won't withdraw that soon anyway The same for Morocco Will vote this evening

If everyone already wrote about it, then I'll do that too I'm also participating in the only 2 song contests in forums, where you need to represent your own country (that's also the reason ,why I participate). But the best (at least for countries, that have only one user like for Latvia) is that you don't need to worry about anything. You're always guaranteed your country, even if you withdraw for edition or two. You don't need to keep an eye on the submission starting moment, because you know that no one will take your country, so you can submit a song also in the last seconds before submission deadline. Also these contests are good, because you can hear more from a country - not only the songs that are in ESC national selections (many users in other contests don't even try tosearch for something, because they can easily take an ESC song (at least I've seen that for Latvia many times)). And one more good thing is that most of the users use original songs (that I haven't heard before or if I did, then only once, but not in song contests). I also always try to send songs that most of you haven't heard before (only exception could be WWWSC #31 with Samanta Tīna and in WVSC #6 with Kristīna Zaharova). What's interesting, that I noticed when looked at my entries in both contests - if most of you send more female artists or male artists (more than anyone else), then I mostly send duets, which is followed by bands Single female and male artists for Latvia have participated only few times. Don't worry - it will continue also in #37, #38 and #39 (not known yet for #40) Maybe that's the reason, why I don't have such good results I'd like to see, because in like all contests the most successful are single female artists... But it still won't change my entry selection at least for this decade I'm also participating in one more contest, but that is also one of those, where I don't need to think about country I'll have to submit for, because every edition I get randomly drawn a different country from all over the world. I see that really interesting, because you never know what you'll get, so there are times, when you need to "step out of your comfort zone" and look for something unknown for you One of the most intriguing countries I've got so far was Solomon Islands

Actually I started thinking about removing my "Joke entry" selection to WVSC, where I could use it. Instead of that in this contest I'd have a surprise for China I bet you couldn't imagine, that Latvia could have a surprise for a country like China What are your thoughts? Should I do that?
